“Hi living, influence wielding IAFF Chief” is the tag the NY Times is putting on IAFF leader Schaitburger.
He is accused of living very high on the hog and the Times makes his “influence peddling” seem sleazy.
The Times seems to relish all the money spent on food, travel, what-not.
The NYC FF Brotherhood agrees with all this and also accuses Schaitburger of reveling in his power broker role than in doing any real work in getting the Zadroga Act renewed.
Stories about the high living IAFF Chief are nothing new, but it seems the Zadroga Act charges and the question of any presidential endorsement the IAFF might make are bringing it into the news again.
