Zebras are commonly referred to as animals being covered in white skin with black stripes all over.
It may be strange to know but is also true to know that they are actually black skined animals with white stripes!
These stripes help them stay cool even if they stand outside for hours. The striped pattern also acts as cammo to confuse predators like lions who prey on them by making them look like one big animal when they stand in a herd.
That’s why at times it becomes difficult to tell where one zebra begins and the other one ends because of the identical markings on their body. A clever trick designed by nature!
