This is interesting, did you know that walking for extended periods can help you tone your body more than running?

If you sprint for about 30mins you’d be too tired to stand if you arnt a highly physically active person where as walking for 30mins but longer distances would still leave you with more energy to do other exercises.

Walking is a way of cooling down for most runners but for the less active people, walking longer may be a better option than running plus it deals less damage to the knees compared to the shocks your knees and legs would take if you run continously.

Walking is also a better alternative for elder folk because you get that much needed exercise but dont end up with soreness from repeated friction on the joints!
