Tips for critical care nurses

Collaborate – This isn’t about impressing anyone, its about being at your best to help others who are in need. Learn to collaborate and work together as a team don’t spend time arguing about who’s role it is.

Reach out – If you need help, don’t hesitate to ask for it, each second that you are unsure off could put the life of the patient at risk.

Listen – Observe and be open to suggestions or concerns from your team, there might be something you could have overlooked which could save lives in the process.

Speak up – If you have something to say, see something wrong or know what needs to be done then speak out and say something don’t let things go wrong before you step-up.

Great find Mike! sometimes in the line of duty we forget to act as a team, it does save lives to be in sync with your fellow nurses it is for the benefit of the patient after all.
